2016 Best Nine

2016 asked a lot of me: stop hiding your art, show up regardless of other people’s expectations, explore your creativity. I had to face my shame of not feeling good enough, not knowing enough to call myself an expert. I had to face my fear and lean into my courage even when I felt it was gone. And today, I get to look back and feel pride. I was brave and bold and I’m better for it.

I look to 2017 with great hope. I don’t know what this year will hold, but I know as long as I can continue to show up as me, genuine me, and as long as I continue to do my work and face my fears, I will win.

So, here’s to being brave, being vulnerable, and being yourself.

Cheers!
